Dezelfde mensen die altijd totaal uit hun plaat gaan door geweldloze acties van @extinctionrebellionnl , bedekken de gewelddadige acties tegen AZC's en het partijkantoor van #D66 met de mantel der liefde.

All but two of the prosecuted activists from Extinction Rebellion were fully acquitted by the district court today, regarding an action at Bromma Airport in Stockholm where red paint had been sprayed on a private jet terminal.

The 15 acquitted had been present, but not participated in the spraying. It is a scandal that they were arrested and prosecuted in the first place, having only held signs and put up posters.

13/ Nikolaus Froitzheim war auch bei #ExtinctionRebellion aktiv und dann später als Pressesprecher bei der #LetzteGeneration.

Bei dieser Pressekonferenz ist er ausgerastet. Eine Journalistin fragte, ob denn die Protestform (Straßenblockaden usw) angemessen wäre. Er hielt ein Blatt mit der Daily See Surface Temperature in die Kameras und rief, dass es darum ginge, dass die Kurve noch nie so ausgesehen habe und dass das jetzt das Thema sei. Nicht die Protestform.

Das ist der Punkt mit „The press is radicalizing us!“: Die Presse hat letztendlich versagt, denn es wurde jahrelang diskutiert, was „die jungen Leute“ da so tun, anstatt zu diskutieren, warum sie es tun. Und vor allem dann ins Handeln zu kommen.

Aber vielleicht kann man „der Presse“ oder „den Medien“ das auch gar nicht vorwerfen, denn das alles folgt einer bestimmten Logik und musste wohl so sein.
