This was a fun and simple one to work on! This was a fun and simple one to work on! Besides taking a photo of the Beardmore sword, my other purpose in visiting the Royal Ontario Museum last Sunday was to see their Cambrian fossils. These are dominated by the OG Burgess Shale fossils (including some collected by Charles Walcott himself) and the newer Mistaken Point lagerstätte in Newfoundland.

These are three of personal favourite Hallucigenia. Each is a couple of centimeters long (#3 is actually #2 through a low-power microscope, hence the inversion).
