One of the things that's cool about these early #Etruscan abecedaria (here's another one) is that they use both Ϻ (from North #Semitic 𐤑 ṣ) and Σ (from 𐤔 š). As far as I know, #Greek abecedaria pick one or the other and put it in between Ρ and Τ regardless of which one it is.

Undoubtedly one of the highlights from this trip was getting to see the frescoes from the Etrucan François Tomb up close in their new home at the Villa Giulia. Stunning scenes recalling Homeric epic. #AncientRome #Etruscan

Rare sealed Etruscan tomb discovered at San Giuliano, one year after first intact burial find
Archaeologists working at the San Giuliano necropolis in central Italy have uncovered a second intact Etruscan tomb, a rare find in a region where centuries of looting emptied nearly every known burial. The newly opened chamber lies in the Caiolo area of the necropolis, about 70 kilometers northwest of Rome...More information: https://archaeologymag.com/2026/06/second-sealed-etruscan-tomb-at-san-giuliano/

We still understand little of the Etruscan language.
Although the Etruscans influenced the ancient Greeks and Romans —the Romans even used Etruscan characters to create our current Latin script— we only have limited understanding of the Etruscan language.
