A lazy day before I absorb enough caffeine to host an online devotional this evening.
Next week is much too busy with annual diabetic checks, several online meetings and a school visit.
Plus, possibly, a visit from Openreach that means moving stuff around again; we've already done this far too many times.
The big question is, do I have enough coffee in the house?

I am in need of low-carb comfort food in between dealing with funeral stuff.
Unfortunately, due to the bank holiday then personal issues my home help has only done two very short visits this week.
No baking.
I've just uncleaned the kitchen to make a 3 egg yolk custard. And rinsed everything in cold water after ...
I have hot custard with rhubarb, and later there will be low-carb ice cream.

A slow start to the day. Not helped by exhaustion after the emergency vet trip on Sat and the recovered cat waking me up for breakfast just after 5am today.
I need a week of doing nothing to recover. Instead I have invoices to collate for the charity's accountant, a meeting with a local council rep about accessibility in their premises which are open to the public, the usual 6 regular zoom meetings, and a cat to coddle.
ELCs make it all too much sometimes.
