#^Dillí snížilo ztráty elektřiny z poloviny na pět procent
Ztráty elektřiny v sítích způsobují technické nedostatky, ale také černé odběry a neplacení účtů. V roce 2023 přišla více než polovina zemí sledujících tento ukazatel alespoň o desetinu vyrobené elektřiny. Dillí během 25 let snížilo celkové ztráty přibližně z 50 na 5 procent díky modernizaci sítě, reformám a spolupráci energetiků, úřadů i zákazníků. Podobné zlepšení zaznamenaly Gruzie a Singapur, zatímco například Jamajka či Argentina nadále čelí vysokým nebo rostoucím ztrátám. Podle odbornice může být zkušenost Dillí vzorem, vyžaduje však dlouhodobé investice a koordinovaný postup všech aktérů.
