  1. Don't get me wrong, I'm a #DasKeyboard fan—heck, I'm typing this on a Das Keyboard—but I'm mystified and amused by the fact that they just sent me a "How did we do?" survey about a customer support ticket that was filed and resolved _nearly nine years ago_.
That's a pretty impressive screw-up. I wonder how many other people they sent those emails to.
The amazing thing about computers is how dramatically they expand the scope of things that could go wrong.

  6. Been using it for a while now. As a #daskeyboard user, I have to say this is the best one yet for me. Not as “clicky” but still a well constructed and rock solid build. mastodon.social/@appleinsider/

  11. I bought a Das Keyboard 4 last month, and I’m loving it!

There is one feature that makes me smile every time I use it: the sleep button. Never thought it would be so useful with a PC, specially with my system consuming <2W during sleep. Also the USB hub is quite handy.

It definitely made me use my PC more

  15. My take on the Metadot #DasKeyboard 6 Pro. Plus we’ve been given some pre-#PrimeDay #promo codes (no kickbacks to us, just a treat for our readers), if you decide you want one. reviews.ofb.biz/sa1225 mastodon.faithtree.social/@ofb

  16. So, update. This might not be a #Gnome problem at all. Rather it seems that the right Super key is just dead on this #DasKeyboard Pro 6. I installed Input Remapper and couldn't get anything from record, so I did libinput debug-events and also got nothing at all when I pressed it. How weird.

  21. Love that compact design of it. Didn’t expect it to be so heavy as its it visibly smaller then the 4PRO version.

  31. Holy crap, I think I'm in love! Earlier this week I had a somewhat disappointing experience with the #ModelM #keyboard, and after repeatedly being encouraged to try out a smaller form factor than the #tkl or #tenkeyless (no numeric keypad), I decided to use my lunch break to visit the local gear shop. It's located way to close to my place of work, which in itself is a curse. Anyway, I was jonesing for a small keyboard, possibly wireless as well, that would fit in my work bag and perhaps be programmable. I've been looking at #Keychron keyboards a couple of times, but so far I've only had a #DasKeyboard TKL 4C and a #Vamilo va88m. Those, unfortunately, are not programmable in any way. I was unsure to get smooth red switches or brown tactile ones, but this is what I ended up with: the Keychron K6 Pro with prelubed Keychron K Pro Mechanical Brown switches, and by Cthulhu's tentacle beard, this keyboard is beyond delicious. More in thread.

  36. So #MechanicalKeyboard enthusiast and #Linux people in EU-land. How many of you would buy these - 1.25U #Tux Logo - if in the EU (German) #DasKeyboard shop. (They need a minimum order, details later).
