Hello all,
I'm wondering if any mechanical keyboard folks can help me out...
I've a Keychron Q11 QMK keyboard (ISO layout): https://www.keychron.com/collections/split-keyboards/products/keychron-q11-qmk-custom-mechanical-keyboard-iso-layout-collection
I'm wondering if there's a company or an individual who might be able to make keycaps which mimic the BBC Micro keys, as in:

Specifically, I'd want the main keys to be black, the same font as the BBC Micro, the function keys to be red, and the arrow keys, pgup/pgdn keys, etc., to be brown.
Hopefully there's someone out there who can help!

yeey, finally got myself XDA keycaps! "3" is a bit blurry and some prints are off-centered, but I'm fine with it (after all, those are sub-dyed, not double shot). and there's bunch of extra keys which's awesooome. having 5 shifts is so funny to me for some reason.
note: I still have hhkb imitation remaps, but I decided to fill (almost) all switches with a cap, so that it looks a bit more normal, but I still play around with those extra keys. :ablobcatbongokeyboard:also read The primitive tortureboard. I was already aware of these myths, but I didn’t know the story behind the Dvorak layout. doubt I'll change my layout though, despite the temptation. I just don't want to get lost on a computer if I'm not in my "perfectly crafter rice with most optimised layout and everything"™
on the other hand, I don't get on someone else's computer that often... -
Il y a eu pas mal de remarques à propos des #keycaps du #QMx2040. En effet, on ne propose que des keycaps vierges, soit noir et blanc (#PunkTuxedo) soit en couleurs pour le fun et l’apprentissage (#NyanQuack). C’est un choix assumé de notre part.
- On préfère réserver le QMx aux personnes qui savent taper en dactylo, ou qui souhaitent apprendre.
- Avoir des keycaps imprimés ralentit fortement l’apprentissage dactylo. On a vu des gens qui tapent depuis plus de 10 ans sur un TypeMatrix imprimé en Bépo mais qui ne savent toujours pas taper en dactylo.
- Aucun clavier ergonomique ni aucune disposition alternative n’a le moindre intérêt sans méthode dactylo stricte : chaque touche est associée à un doigt bien précis.
- Acheter un clavier ergo avec des keycaps marqués ne sert à rien, et les vendeurs de claviers ergo le savent parfaitement. Ils en proposent quand même parce que ça correspond à la quasi-totalité de leurs demandes.

Anyone know where I can find a replacement Left STRG key cap for my Logitech G810. Mine was lost in a tragic vacuuming accident yesterday. The only person on Ebay that has the right key caps has already sold the STRG that I needed.

Recently unpacked an older favourite #MechanicalKeyboard of mine and using it since then: The rather flat #VortexGear #Race3 with #CherryMX #SilentRed switches and (#Massdrop × #Hasbro) #XDA #Scrabble #keycaps, designed by @cassidoo.
Oh, and while looking for the original product link, I just noticed that (Mass)Drop now seems to belong to #Corsair and really died completely 😢: "Starting our next chapter, #Drop will become a hub for our collaborations with truly exciting titles." 🙄

Edit: Just noticed on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Happy_Hacking_Keyboard that the #HHKB Pro 2 is now 20 years old — released in March 2006 — and the HHKB in general nearly 30 years, released in December 1996.

Good news: Even though [I thought] my new #ErgoMechKeyboard design uses 16mm vertical spacing, both my Choc v1 Chicago Stenographer #keycaps and my (preferred) Choc v1 KLP Lamé saddle (#3DPrinted at JLCPLC in resin) work just fine. I was worried I'd not be able to use this new #MechanicalKeyboard without ordering some even more niche minimal-y spaced keycaps. l'll get some matching 1.5u wide caps done at some point...
Bad news: Broke the stem of yet another doing the swap - these things are fragile! Push from below, don't pull!

@mxk @AAMfP @akaruiwrx I'm currently looking into the MTNU profile, also designed by #Matt3o, apparently. Not as high as MT3, though, I think that's good. Not made with Drop but with Germany based GMK. Hope to have more luck with ISO-DE and #Mac caps ...
