  1. Neuer Nager. 🐁 🖱️

  2. I love my #Keychron K6 retro style mechanical #keyboard and my #Kensington Expert Mouse (which is a #trackball). In fact I love it so much I've got two of each and have a set for the home office and a set when I'm at clients.

Given these shorter contracts lately, I'm looking for something a little less bulky to drag around, so I'm testing out the #logitech MX Keys Mini chiclet keyboard and the Kensington #Orbit wireless trackball.

    Opinions later! 😀

  8. Final step on my quest for a mechanical keyboard: I'm 95% satisfied with the Keychron V10 Max. What is missing? I still need to get used to not having the "End" key, and also how to properly use the macro keys. However that's good enough for me, so my search is officially over.

It's a great keyboard. Very comfortable to use, and sounds is amazing. I can easily switch between work and gaming because the layout is perfect for both. It's totally configurable on Linux via their web application (because of the QMK/VIA support) so I'm not missing any of it's features at all.

    10/10 recommended.

  9. Got paid and immediately ordered a new keyboard. Totally needed it, yep 💸

Went with a Keychron V6 Max with linear red switches.

Been using Logitech, SteelSeries, and HyperX keyboards over the years. Been alright.

Let's see what a quality mechanical keyboard is like!

  10. Oh joy, 🛠️ a treasure trove of CAD files for Keychron's clicky clacky keyboards and mice! Because clearly, designing your own custom mechanical keyboard was the one thing missing in your life. 😅 Now you can spend countless hours fiddling with STEP files instead of typing that novel you keep talking about. 📚💻

Keychron is making all of its hardware designs open source, publishing those files in a new GitHub repository for anyone to access for free.

The company's CEO noted in the announcement on Discord that “We think that making production hardware files available is a meaningful contribution to the broader hardware and keyboard community,

  12. Dear fellow nerds,

I got a #Keychron keyboard. You were right. It’s that good.

    - Keychron K10 HE
    - Full size
    - Magnetic switches

(I also got the M5 ergonomic mouse but don’t live it. Unlike the keyboard, it feels unsubstantial. But giving it a week before I decide on keeping or returning.)

  13. 🚨 New Video: I Ditched Razer for a 4-Year-Old Keyboard (And You Should Too)

Stop buying products designed to fail. After four years on the market, the Keychron Q1 proves that hardware should be a tool you own, not a disposable product you rent. In this video, I break down why I scrapped my Razer Huntsman Elite, a $200 piece of planned obsolescence, for a heavy, modular, and open-source aluminum chassis.

We dive into the hardware, the hot-swappable switches, QMK/VIA open-source firmware, and the three questions every piece of tech must answer before it earns a spot on my desk.

    Is it repairable?
    Is it modular?
    Is it sovereign?

  23. My new keyboard arrived. Do I leave this cover on it?

    #keychron

  24. I started fighting my #keychron K8Pro to update. After 30 minutes, I discovered that it would only update when I had it in Mac mode. Fine. The Q0 was super simple. Then came the mouse. It updated while I had it plugged in just fine. However, it wouldn't connect via 2.5G or Bluetooth. Resetting it, rebooting the laptop, trying a different computer, factory resetting it while plugged in, nothing I've tried works. It will only work plugged in. I can force it into pairing mode, but it doesn't recognize the dongle. Same story when I try to pair it via Bluetooth on my work laptop. Ugh.
