  1. I knew that there was #HJKL navigation and #WASD navigation, and some of the full-screen utilities in the #nosh toolset support both.

    I read that there's also QAOP, which alas contradicts the conventional use of 'q' that those utilities already have, and ESDF which alas overlaps WASD.

    One cannot be all things to all people, and it seems excessive to make this configurable somehow when they're only limited-use bonuses over just using the normal arrow keys.

  2. As we all know, on proper keyboards the [Ctrl] key just unsets bit 6, so Ctrl+A becomes SOH and so forth. The Apple HI guidelines never happened, and everyone lives in the U.S.A. or uses a BBC Micro. (-:

    Importantly, Ctrl+@ becomes NUL. This is [Ctrl]+[2@] with a U.S.A. keyboard layout.

    But many European keyboard layouts swap the ["] and [@] positions.

    So what should NUL be then?

    Reading your keyboard map for the answer is cheating. (-:
