  2. Earth is getting darker—and hotter.

As glaciers melt and reflective cloud cover declines, our planet absorbs more of the Sun's energy. One surprising reason? Cleaner air means fewer aerosols that help form reflective clouds.

  3. ☁️The Atlantic Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) has distinctive cloud patterns that can be identified from space.🛰️With the help of 39 volunteers, L. Hayo&J. Windmiller classified 5 mesoscale cloud patterns in 6,600 satellite images of the Atlantic ITCZ region: Line, Double Line, Broad, Cluster,& Speckles. Regional&seasonal differences in patterns suggest that mesoscale cloud organization affects the ITCZ's mean characteristics. 🔗agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.co
