  1. #WaterWednesday is here and I have a very dramatic shot to share.

I've revived this edit from my archives recently - a scene I captured back in 2023 while exploring the Canadian #Mountains near #Canmore. I had a friend that wanted to checkout this creek and I'm glad I followed his lead.

Anyone that has visited Canmore will surely recognize the iconic Three Sisters Peaks here.

  7. Today is #WorldOceansDay! As someone who lives in a land-locked province in the middle of Canada, I marvel every time I set foot in ocean waters. Each is so diverse, both upon the shores and in the depths. And whenever I listen to the ocean, my breathing aligns with its ebbs and flows, reminding me that like every other aspect of nature, we are connected. How I care for the ocean is how I care for myself.

  12. A favourite image from my #BackPacking trip to #Yukon in 2022.

I had planned the trip for end of August hoping we would be on the trail during the incredible transition from summer to fall colours - we may have arrived a week early, but, on our hike out the colours really started to show creating this gorgeous rainbow like patterns across the slopes. Reds, greens, yellows, purples, and oranges!

  13. The Sphinx II (2022)

I took this shot in the high alpine meadows just south of #Jasper #Alberta, in a park that few actually visit in this mountain region. My sibling had suggested we go backpacking through this area on a weekend trip we had the opportunity to enjoy together.

This scene was without a doubt, the highlight of our hike as summited the ridge to see this sweeping valley.

  14. The Light We Cannot See (2022)

I named this image after a statement a friend made upon seeing it. We had gotten up early and met at a local park with the intent of shooting #landscapephotography together - at the end of the day they felt that had failed to capture an image, and, upon seeing my image asked to purchase a print of it as a reminder of the things we fail to see.

  15. I'm a decent green thumb, but #orchids are one of those flowers I'm much better at photographing than growing. Super excited for the Orchid Fair at the #EnjoyCentre in #StAlbert this wknd. This means new work coming soon! For now, here are some shots from previous yrs, two of which were awarded as part of the Orchid Society of Alberta's juried art show in 2023.

  17. Millcreek Ravine

One of the greatest blessings in my life is the abundant access to nature and natural places. This has been unquestionably enhanced by my love for #Photography as it pushes me to search for these quiet natural places, pushing the expectations of where they can be found.

This image is of the small creek next to my parents home, in an unsuspecting urban neighborhood in a quiet part of #Edmonton

  18. I’ve started a photo project for 2026! Inspired by the numerous sets of #RiverValley stairs in the City of #Edmonton, I'll be photographing some of them, sharing their story as I’ve experienced them, in the nearly 25 years I’ve lived here.

  20. #ArtAdventCalendar Day 19 - I'm just here to let you know there's such a thing as white sunflowers.

Definitely a different vibe than the traditional yellow, but I love it all the same 😍
