I am still a bit angry at philosophy people that had not warned me about that for Kant's Critique of Pure Reason ;-)
When I bought the book to read it 20 years ago, it doomed my hope of digging more into philosophy
When I closed it, after not being able to understand paragraphs after paragraphs... I really thought serious philosophy was out of reach.
It is Zen and (some) Taoism classics simplicity and reliance on logic to dismantle moral stuffs that brought me back on the path to philosophy
But maybe my path was to learn how simplicity can embody the semantics behind the veil of involved syntax in sentences
