Kaori Shinome was born poor, but now she’s saved up enough to buy a four story apartment complex. Her dreams of an easy life are quickly dashed when she finds out nobody wants to live in her building, because it’s haunted. Making the best of her situation, she decides to make ghosts, yokai, etc. into tenants.
This is a #manga that mixes #horror and humor. The supernatural is treated mostly seriously, but Shinome inevitably throws a wrench into expectations with her fearlessness, compassion, and vacant units that need to be filled. Along the way she picks up companions—and tenants—most notably Tsuzumi Ksakabe, a young exorcist with an unfortunate fear of ghosts.
