I shouldn’t be distracted with this kind of nonsense when I have plenty of apps needing some tlc to get out the door… that said…
I’ve been spending time trying to get rapid-mlx to work on the Mac mini. It’s supposed to be much faster than llama.cpp, but I’ve had nothing but problems. Hope it is just a learning curve on the right mix of parameters. Defaults definitely don’t seem to be dialed in like llama-server. #opencode #rapidmlx #llamacpp -

En el marco de la Semana de Sensibilización sobre la Sal 2026, del 11 al 17 de mayo, y del Día Mundial de la Hipertensión, a celebrarse el 17 de mayo, El Poder del Consumidor, hizo un llamado urgente a las autoridades a fortalecer las políticas públicas para reducir el consumo de sodio en México.
Este año, instituciones internacionales como la Organización Panamericana de la Salud (OPS) enfatizan en las intervenciones efectivas para disminuir la ingesta de sodio, como la reformulación de productos, el etiquetado frontal de advertencia, las campañas de comunicación y la protección de menores frente a la publicidad de alimentos no saludables.
Asimismo, la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) reconoce el Día Mundial de la Hipertensión 2026 bajo el llamado “Controlar la hipertensión juntos: mida su presión arterial con regularidad, derrote al asesino silencioso”, destacando la necesidad de prevenir, detectar y controlar la presión arterial elevada de manera oportuna. –sn–

100% agree!
I noticed that #llamacpp in a recent build has defaulted to using the native #huggingface paths. I hope #LMStudio and others switch as well. It’s pretty annoying to have models scattered in different directories. I’ve accidentally downloaded the same model switching between LLM servers. -

Absolutely brilliant doco. Have seen it twice so far (digi version late last year, then again when the BluRay arrived a couple of months ago) and it is so damn llovely, I may watch it again this week.
Can not recommend it highly enough, now that it's available to all. 🦙
