It is very cold here in Minnesota, but it is always warm and snuggly on the bed. I, too, would just like to stay in bed all day (although I prefer under the blankets to on top of them).

This is not a great photo, but it is a much better photo of a racing drone than I have been able to take with my phone before, so I'm really delighted. I just downloaded a new camera app for my Pixel 7 (ProShot) that lets me control ISO, shutter speed, white balance, and focus. I am looking forward to being able to take much better photos of my kid's drone races!

My teenager races tiny whoop drones as part of YDSC/CDSC (Youth Drone Sports Championships/College Drone Sports Championships) and also coaches an afterschool program. YDSC/CDSC offers three options, a sim series via Velocidrone, an IRL series hosted by area high schools, and MTS (Micro Track Smash), raced on PVC tracks designed to fit into a classroom.

Massive fire with large plumes of black smoke at the empty Kmart building at Lake St and Nicollet Ave.
Minneapolis Fire Department says the blaze was reported just after 5 AM today (Fri 20 Oct 2023). Building's walls have partially collapsed. Multiple aerial ladders are on site and sending water down. Crews are not entering the building as it is too dangerous. No one has been hurt.
