This cat was so desperate to breath in all the wonderful smells that she was trying to crawl inside the shoes before they were even off my child's feet. She typically sleeps with her face smashed inside the shoe.

Candycorn on her special orthopedic cooling bed. Candycorn doesn't have any femoral heads. Her femurs just stop. There is no ball for the ball-and-socket hip joint. We have no kittenhood medical records, but the U of MN orthopedic vets believe she had asymptomatic avascular necrosis of the femoral head as a kitten. We did not discover this until she was 9 years old. Thread 1/5

It is very cold here in Minnesota, but it is always warm and snuggly on the bed. I, too, would just like to stay in bed all day (although I prefer under the blankets to on top of them).
