We made a ginormous roasted pumpkin stuffed with ground lamb, kale, and bulgur wheat a few weeks ago - and this is not a post about that. Because I kept the pumpkin guts for Christmas treat-baking... 😇
Today's [pumpkin-gut bread](https://eatingrichly.com/how-to-cook-a-whole-pumpkin-and-recipe-for-pumpkin-gut-bread/#mv-creation-164-jtr) is the best I've made so far - I added ground ginger, allspice, & cloves to the cinnamon & nutmeg specified in the recipe, and [Red Tail Grains' NuEast Red Wheat](https://redtailgrains.com/the-grains) is absolutely perfect for this!

#MakeShitMonday, another batch of #kombucha edition...
Brewed up a big batch of sweetened lapsang souchong tea over the weekend and added it to the kombucha mother(s) in my primary kombucha vessel. It will have a week or two to do its thing over the holidays before it's time to bottle it.

Heute bin ich (virtuell) bei der 14. Sitzung des Lenkungsausschusses "Brücken bauen im Blauen Band der Wissenschaft" zur Auswertung der gelaufenen Aktionen in diesem Jahr und Diskussion der geplanten Aktivitäten im neuen Jahr.

Not seen what they have for 3D Printing yet, but they have a fairly big laser cutter and a medium-small CNC, both "ITECH" branch.

They weren't really ready to do an open day today, but hope to be more operational by next Saturday.
Overall it is a fantastic space but there's a lot of work needed.

Schön war es beim 6. Käptn's Dinner der #MakeScienceHalle und des Science2Public e.V. im Saline-Museum in Halle – viele gute Gespräche zur #WissKomm und #CitizenScience, großartiges veganes Essen, leckeres Algenbier und eine kurze Führung durch das im Aufbau befindliche Salzmuseum.
