Vaak is het archiveren van informatie een beperkte of niet-ingebouwde functionaliteit. Daardoor kan informatie verloren gaan. De handreiking Sociale media archivering biedt uitkomst.
Inhoud opgeleverde modules
De 1e module beschrijft wat onder sociale media en overheidsinformatie op sociale media wordt verstaan. De 2e module gaat over het juridisch kader voor het archiveren van deze informatie. Bijvoorbeeld de Archiefwet, de Algemene verordening gegevensbescherming (AVG) en de Wet open overheid (Woo). De 3e module bevat praktische aanbevelingen voor (communicatie)professionals om het archiveren te vergemakkelijken.
De handreiking is ontstaan uit het project Sociale media archivering van het Rijksprogramma voor Duurzaam Digitale Informatiehuishouding (RDDI). Dit project werkte in 2023 aan instrumenten om rijksorganisaties te helpen informatie op sociale media veilig te stellen en duurzaam toegankelijk te maken.

Welke risico’s zijn er als overheidsinformatie niet duurzaam toegankelijk is? Dus: vindbaar, beschikbaar, leesbaar, interpreteerbaar, betrouwbaar en toekomstbestendig. De nieuwe handreiking DUTO-risicobeoordeling van het Nationaal Archief (NA) geeft duidelijkheid.
DUTO staat voor Duurzaam Toegankelijke Overheidsinformatie. De handreiking helpt informatieprofessionals bij een risicobeoordeling binnen hun organisatie. Denk aan risico’s rondom bedrijfsvoering, financiën, naleving van wet- en regelgeving, en dienstverlening aan burgers en bedrijven.
Handreiking DUTO-risicobeoordeling
Een quickscan geeft je een globaal beeld van de belangrijkste risico’s. Met een stappenplan voer je een meer gedetailleerde beoordeling uit. Het resultaat is een rapportage met daarin de risico’s, de ernst daarvan en eventuele oplossingen.
Wil je vervolgens met elkaar in gesprek over de risico’s die te voorschijn komen? De handreiking bevat ook tips voor gespreksvoering, zodat je samen aan verbeteringen kan werken.
