I can't exit the night/bedtime mode on my #applewatch by holding the crown. It goes straight to the UI when starting the hold. There is NO bed icon in the watch control center, nor can it be added. No focus mode is enabled, either on the watch or the phone.
Fun bug.

On my wife's Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, MBA), auto-updating of the OS and apps doesn't work at all, everything has to be updated manually. And no, turning it off and on again doesn't work :)
Very weird. Maybe it's the proximity to me, a #bugmagnet

In #FCPX 11.1, applying the naming preset "Original camera name" does not, in fact, apply the original camera name. Literally nothing happens.
Other preset such as Clip Date/Time work as expected.
Not good.

I'm convinced many if not most of my weird bugs are due to either system locale or language, or something like that.
I don't think companies get a ton of bug reports by users from small regions (Czech in my case), so they just never get fixed. Apple has had some very local bugs like this, and there's a bug in Firefox in Czech on MacOS that's been ignored for almost 20 years. And yes I do report these, all the time :)

#FCPX bug, years old, unfixed. Sometimes, snapshots just do not get created.
This is a new library created with 11.1. The warnings are because originals aren't available, only proxies. I CAN duplicate.

Anyone with the #Biqu H2 V2S? I love it but I don't understand how is the tensioner screw is supposed to work.
What does the screw do? What is supposed to do the actual compression of the spring? It doesn't seem to do anything at all. The screw moves up and down when screwing but no compression of the spring is taking place.

Anyone got distributed encoding in #Compressor to work? I had it working back in like 2009 but fail to make it work now. When I set passwords, it complains about missing passwords, when I disable passwords, nothing happens at all.
And yes sources are available on both machines, at the same paths. Compressor is matching versions.

#KlipperScreen stopped working. No amount of reinstalling, rebooting and all that stuff helps. Phone and the cable are fine.

One of my fav #Alfredapp workflows:
"r <reminder text>"Adds a new reminder without opening Reminders at all.
Another one: menu search.
"m <text>" looks for <text> in menubar menus, so you can launch with keyboard even commands that do not have keyboard shortcuts. Incredibly, mind-mendingly useful.

There is still no free/local alternative to Simon Says and/or transcriptions in Resolve, Premiere or Avid for FCPX?
#MacWhisper and #Commandpost gets us so close but for whatever reason #FCPX doesn't support searching for keywords in the Browser, so you can't directly search the transcripts before you add them to timeline.
@latenite any ideas?

Why can't I run any AppImage package on any distro, ever? And yes I DO have "Executable as program" enabled. Ubuntu, Fedora, nothing. No error message too.
EDIT: disregard, I'm an idiot. I'm running Fedora virtualized in UTM on an ARM M1 Mac, these were x64 execs.

I have a Lacie 2big TB2 RAID enclosure that works perfectly well BUT only has 2x 3TB drives (in RAID 0, so 6TB - data safety is of no concern).
Question: Lacie's max supported drives are just 8TB. I'd love to go big with the Seagate Exos 20TB drives. Possible? Is it a hardware limitation of the controller chip or something? Or was 8TB simply the maximum when they last updated the compatibility chart?
