It took quite a while to finally warm up to #AlwaysSunny, but now I'm fully on board.
To catch up on it, I've been downing two episodes every time I'm at the gym. They fit nicely into a 45 minute block.
I'm up to Season 7, and I hit "Dee Gets Audited". Largely pedestrian episode, IMHO. Not bad. Just... eeh.
Until the last act when it all comes together, at least.
And if you know what's IN this casket, and what happens, you'll understand why I quite literally dry heaved at the gym, nearly throwing up.

Seventeen seasons is a very long run too.
Another eight episodes of the gang all being mean to each other and talking over each other and getting into farcical scrapes.
The dinner party rehearsals were the funniest bit. Slowly A/B testing and audience reaction tests, that's how to make art. 😆
Not sure I'd say the show is mostly funny these days, but their bitching meanness to each other is comfortingly familiar.

NYT Connections has very NYT ideas about what pop culture references (movies/actors, athletes, authors, etc.) are “mainstream” enough to use, but I want to be surprised by a niche connection like “steps in the D.E.N.N.I.S. system” or “planets in the Lylat System”.
