I receive this converter today theoretically, I hope it will work while waiting for a confirmation of compatibility of the #BlueSCSI with the AKAI DPS 16.
The only thing missing is the cable from the AKAI to this converter, which I haven't found yet. :0)

A new build of the Mini vMac emulator brings BlueSCSI disk image support and no longer "pauses" the emulator when your cursor isn't in the window. This is so very useful! 🎉
Check it out here:

Big thanks to @nulleric !

New Video! 👇🏻
My Apple Macintosh LC III restore video has been posted, in which I:
✅ Install a #BlueSCSI w/ Classic Mac OS 7.6.1
✅ Service a floppy drive
✅ Get an Apple IIe Card working
✅ Install an FPU chip -
For #MARCHintosh2023, I’m working on restoring a #MacLC III. During that restoration, I need to replace the original Quantum SCSI drive with a #BlueSCSI v1.
If your recollection of SCSI details from Mac that you used in the 1990s is a bit foggy - like mine is - you will want to read this brief clip from the Apple Introduction to SCSI Concepts, Chapter 3:

Decided today to try something I’ve thought about since the #BlueSCSI came out: turn the BlueSCSI into a backpack card for the #Amiga CDTV SCSI card. After trying some test fits for clearance, I moved most components to the opposite side of the board. I used a female header for SCSI on the back of the card.

I recently got a #BlueSCSI kit. Are there any good _non-video_ instructions on how to assemble one? Is it a similar process for all BlueSCSI devices? #retrocompuing

SCSI emulation: BlueSCSI-Toolbox v1.3
The BlueSCSI Toolbox combines two utilities for managing a BlueSCSI V2 or ZuluSCSI in an Amiga: the CD changer makes it possible to switch between CD ISO images on the SD card during operation. The SD transfer tool can be used to transfer files from the SD card to the Amiga.
The new version 1.3 contains various corrections by Stefan Reinauer and also offers support for 68000 CPUs.

SCSI-Emulation: BlueSCSI V2026.03.01
BlueSCSI is a SCSI hardware replacement for the Amiga and other retro systems. It emulates SCSI drives such as hard disks or optical drives using the Pi Pico PR2040 and Pico 2 RP2350. The recently released firmware version 2026.03.01-RC2 for BlueSCSI v2 and Ultra/Ultra Wide includes bug fixes and enhancements, and in particular significant optimizations for WLAN speed and AmigaNET support.

Testing my BlueSCSIv2 with obscure Amiga hardware - this is the Masoboshi MasterCard MC-702, a combined SCSI and IDE controller for the Amiga 2000 from 1992 or thereabouts. I'm trying to get this to play nice with N2630 accelerator card I recently built. In theory I guess it should be ok to run the lide.device IDE driver on the N2630 along the MASOBOSHI.device driver from this card, but I'm running into a few snags. Some games installed on the BlueSCSI won't run, but I can store stuff and run simple programs. At this point I'm not sure if what I'm seeing is the MC-702 having issues with the BlueSCSI, or trouble on the Amiga side of things. Next up is to try out what I really want to use the BlueSCSI for in this setup - CD images and transferring files to the system via the SD card. #Amiga #amiga2000 #retrocomputing #BlueSCSI

Got my BlueSCSI from @onegeekarmy today! Really happy with it. I can’t use it right now (the Mac is disassembled waiting for a cleaning session), but will soon. 😊 #macplus #retrocomputing #bluescsi #macintosh
