While reading the kinda angry book, my Computational Thinker’s brain would translate to words like CAP-Theorem, heuristics, implied-in-fact contracts and Law of Leaky Abstractions. I’m living in a computer scientist simulation.

Worship dominance. Never apologize. Never reflect. Never admit fault. Never take responsibility unless the responsibility can be subcontracted to a staffer, lawyer, wife, intern, or enemy.
That is not strength. That is emotional credit card debt.
Real strength is steadier than that. It can handle disagreement without needing a nickname. It can take rejection without turning into a sewer pipe. It can lose an argument without inventing a conspiracy. It can stand next to women without treating them as props, prizes, servants, threats, or proof of masculine worth.

In the film Matrix there's a scene where the protagonist is offered a red pill and a blue pill. Eating one lets him stay in the "simulated" world, eating the other allows him to transcend into the "real" world and see the simulation from outside.
This scene's become a cultural reference, up to the point that the terms "red pill" and "blue pill" are being used as metaphors in their own right.
Unfortunately, I can never remember which is which. Was it the red or the blue pill that lets him stay? Or transcend? Is there some kind of mnemonic for easy remembering? Am I the only one mixing them up? What do you use? Or do you just know?
