Well the computer I had back in 2007 was not the Intel Mac Pro, but was the Power Mac G5. It ran rather hot, so it was water cooled! Don't think Apple ever released the 3 GHz model.

Again, dynamic times for Apple. And a great time to be a creative professional with them. They seamlessly converted from the PowerPC architecture, to Intel with Rosetta in about two years.

The single slot DVD drive is the give away. The Mac Pro introduced the double DVD drive option.
