  1. Partly because I've never shared anything from my website on here before and want to see what the preview looks like (if there is one), and partly because it's the latest thing published, here's a write-up about #Arundells in #Salisbury, the former home of British Prime Minister #EdwardHeath from a visit we made earlier this year.

In my opinion, what’s missing from any #media I’ve read on #Balenciaga’s recent #ad featuring #children is the highlight of the #ConsumerResponsibility…👀

We all know this #brand is absurd, yet, many people fall for the #cult of #CelebrityEndorsement…which blinds them when it comes to what they should or, in most cases, should #NOT buy…for various reasons in addition to contributing to the #unsustainable #ConsumeristSociety we live in…😞

  4. Another great Board Game Night with @neonbubble and partners.

A lovely, nostalgic return to a game I quite possibly haven't played for 44+ years: Dark Tower.

Ah - the whirl of the engine, the sight of never ending brigands and the bazaar music that makes you want to shimmy.

  10. For #MidWeekMuseum this week, I bring you the Guggenheim in Bilbao. The modern #art inside the museum is spectacular but pales in comparison to the #architecture of the building itself. As an added bonus, Bilbao is a fantastic foodie destination in #Spain

  11. Bloody hell. My wife's a blubbering wreck herself after watching Littler break down in tears twice on stage in the post-match interview.

  12. Caught up with the final of the Premier League after watching Taskmaster and what a fantastic match to finish off a fantastic evening. Impossible to pick a winner until the final dart.

  13. I'm gruesomely embarrassed on Armando's behalf.

  19. Wine has been cracked open to celebrate having proper internet and actual working TV together for the first time in what seems like ages*.

Poor sod of an engineer today, testing, sighing, tutting, removing, replacing, cutting, testing, sighing more, tutting again. For hours. Boxes swapped, cables replaced, splitter thingies changed, cabinet pieces replaced. There were parts he found that he'd never seen before, probably installed here when he was a baby.

    * As if we need an excuse.

  20. For #ThrowbackThursday here's my grandad getting an outdoors haircut from someone who may well be a fellow farmer. The youngest girl is my cousin Noreen and this is likely to be my mum's family home in Mayo, early 1980s.

  25. We've seen a UFO while out in the garden, and to prove it here's a classic UFO-quality photo that is definitive proof of alien visitation for certain people.

Seriously, though, it was weird. Two rotating dots moving slowly across the sky until they just stopped moving, holding position for a few minutes, kept rotating, gradually faded away as if heading upwards perfectly relative to our viewing position.

    Me too.
