-------------------V knihách Temné věže je to tajemná síla, která vede všechny živé (i neživé) tvory, přibližný ekvivalent osudu nebo předurčení.
KA lze považovat za průvodce, cíl, ale rozhodně není plánem - alespoň ne takovým, který by byl znám smrtelníkům.
Oficiální stránky Temné věže popisují KA následovně: "KA... znamená životní sílu, vědomí, povinnost a osud. Ve vulgátě, neboli v nízké řeči, znamená také místo, kam se jedinec musí vydat."

Škoda, že česká vydání Temné věže nejsou tak vizuálně krásná. Teprve když dáte více knížek k sobě, poznáte, jak k sobě pasují. 🤩

Ve filmové adaptaci Prokletí Salemu (2024) otec Callahan zemře, kousne ho upír, ale v upíra se nepromění.
V knize (od Stephena Kinga) řádění upirů přežije, opije se a odjíždí autobusem z města pryč.
Stejně v knize i ve filmu ale ztratí víru v Boha.

King also described the trees as being like the columns of a cathedral and I endeavored to capture this in his painting.
