Oil on Panel - 28” x 18”Painted for the most part during cold winter nights in Connecticut. I had no trouble visualizing the bitter chill of a frosty snow covered landscape...I just had to step outside for inspiration. 1/4

I’m currently trying to read the first #darktower by #stephenking. By “trying,” I mean I keep forgetting to pick it up and wondering why it reads like a 20-year-old trying to be edgy. Then I realize it actually was written by a twenty-something King.
In the foreword, King himself even warns the reader that this isn’t something he would write the same way today.
So now I’m wondering whether I should just skip to another Dark Tower book or switch to a completely different King novel. -
