Kratsooo n'a pas tilté et l'a emporté 3-11/4

Situation à la fin de la 2e journée.
Blinky continue de dérouler en ne perdant aucun match. En tout il aura perdu... 1 manche. Contre Lingding, certainement le joueur le plus faible de la WC. Il finit donc 1er de sa poule.
Noksi effectue une jolie remontée en finissant avec 2 win et 3 lose. Comme les 4e, 5e et 6e de sa poule. Mais il a perdu moins de manches que les autres, donc 3e. Bien joué le petit prodige !
Kratsooo finit 4e et réussit donc à s'extraire de la poule de la mort

C'est moins brillant pour les 2 autres Français en lice.
Noksi, le jeune prodige de 19 ans, nous a gratifié d'un superbe stream front dont il est coutumier. Mais il a perdu ses 2 matchs 0-2. Il est donc bon dernier de son groupe égalité avec Consus le WC 2023 !
Kratsooo quant à lui a concédé son 1er match et remporté son 2nd. Il est pour le moment 4e de son groupe qui comprend Radu C (WC2025), Finbarr et Debre. Se sortir de cette poule de la mort va être... compliqué.

Our hotel wifi sucks, so for today's Geoguessr game I thought I'd try no steps for the first time.
As predicted, did absolutely terribly for the first 4 rounds, but then finished with a 5K!
Tempted to give up and stop playing, I'm never going to improve on that.

I have a love/hate relationship with my favorite game.
It stems from how pro GeoGuessrs are mostly playing CoverageGuessr to get those exact guesses.
They learn the google cars down to their antennas, and sometimes even whether you can see a roll of toilet paper in the google truck window. I wish I was making that up.
They learn dead pixels and blurs found in coverage. They memorize which camera is used where. They create PDFs containing where you find specific google vehicles, and sometimes send insta-guesses based on it without even looking around much.
It bothered me enough to decide not to learn that stuff, and so in essence, I play with a handicap in comparisson, but I get the satisfaction of knowing my guess was based on things that exist IRL. All the things I love learning about the world come into play.
I mostly guess off the plants and rocks/soil. Utilize iNaturalist to learn, as well as watching vods about geology. I learn about languages, about architecture and fashion, about food and beverages. About us.
