I wanted to understand my tools better, and I figured out how to do algorave/livecoding with Tidal Cycles from Neovim with no plugins and just a bit of my own code!
It was a fun project, and it's reassuring to know I'm able to do that on my own.

I'm teaching Sonic Pi in a music tech class, and because we were using the TB-303 synth in class, I felt compelled to modify what we did to make the Charli XCX “365” bassline:

"Sonic Booming" - a 15 minute diversion through sounds from Street Fighter 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog.
It's a bit cluttered in places, but I think there are a few chaos emeralds in there.
I loved playing jingles backwards at half-speed to find new melodies, and making soundscapes from gold-ring sounds (near the end).
It's also fun to build confidence with the tools that #strudel offers. -
