Todays #mayke is exploring making a minimal version of my enormous "Planstation" portable standing desk out of this interesting Fjallraven paramedic admin pouch. I've replaced the thin flexi whiteboard plastic with some ply to make a rigid shelf.

Little #mayke #prototype a tiny magmount "nuby" style light for the #xteinkx4 incredibly delicate atm but somehow very #solarpunk in my mind. Hat tip to @grajohnt for discussions...

I have done a #Mayke of pickled onions. The secret ingredient is flowers and pods from the overwintered kale ("it's Cavolo Nero, actually"), all parts of which are edible (true of all brassicas, but note that edible means "not poisonous", not "delicious").

A decade ago I was totally inspired by Barry from Dark Water Foundation who ran a supercool workshop at @lpoolmakefest where you could build a tiny little underwater #ROV with Lego.
