I'm still using #ZombiesRun. I like that it doesn't need to link to other services and works fine on its own. And the story is nice to hear!Gamification helped me a lot to start running many years ago, when I was in a sort of dark place.
Now that I've started again, ZombiesRun is like a good fellow runner at my side. -
@woollypigs @Nairamtrab I love Decathlon electrolyte tabs, both lemon or raspberry flavours aren't too sweet.
@robchapman it won't solve the plastic smell problem, it will be even worse than regular #electrolytes 😄, but in the past I used squeezed oranges, naturally containing potassium and vitamin C, water and a pinch of salt as hydrating solution.

Here in Austria and other parts of Central Europe, ticks often transmit tick-borne #encephalitis (#TBE), a serious viral infection that among other things can lead to paralysis of the arms or legs and permanent disability. Once infected, there is not much you can do except treat the symptoms, but there is a preventive vaccine that most people in affected areas receive and that provides protection for some years.

Well Erykha Badu your absolutely brilliant album Baduizm isn't an album to be losing a lung or two on a 1800m high Pyreneean mountain top to. It is more a sitting next to a log fire while looking at a Pyreneean mountain top album.
As we were going up, the 250m directly up, we were passed going downhill by two clearly local runners storming down. I kept an eye on them and they were zooming along the bit of flat trail that I deemed to be rough and near un-runable.

A few days ago I visited a little brewery in one of our favourite valleys in the Pyrenees. Today and yesterday I was working my way through some of their offerings, so far so very good. Great joy drinking these while knowing that a few I have hiked or cycled up in the past ;)

I just visited Hautacamp and a "Skoda We Love Cycling" plastic sticker on the road is still there and breaking up and bits of it is spread all over this beautiful Pyrenees mountain.
I hope that we can get them to come and clean up what's left and hopefully they will in the future not leave litter like that around.

Happy international Day of the Podenco \o/ And this little clownn of a mutt, is clearly happy that she caught a little lizard and was showing it off to us, holding it in her mouth with it's hind legs and tail sticking out. We managed to distract Penny enough to drop it and get her away. Hope the lizard life ain't too traumatic after being carried around by a Podenco. Happy St Patrick's Day everyone, especially our wee Paddy aka the Irish mutt. Still a young lad, who isn't sure about his size, but a very cuddly boy, he comes up every evening for a cuddle at about eight, which he asks for very gently.
When we got him from the shelter and took him to the vet to get his pet passport sorted and his injured paw checked, the vet greeted him with: <insert strong Irish accent>So what can we do for you today, Mr Patrick?</insert strong Irish accent>

If you can PLEASE sign this petition, so that we can stop the Spanish government classing hunting dog like Podencos and Galgos as livestock. They are already kept/used in horrific situations and this will just make it easier for hunters etc to treat these beautiful dog even worse.
