Yesterday's route backwards today. Well not running backwards, just the route in the other direction. I need to see if I can change it a bit so I can get closer to the pretty horses I spotted in a nearby field.

Autumn colours are heading our way. Just a short run today, between work, dinner and more work. Went a different way to avoid the road works, forgetting that this causes the other lanes to be used for the rat run. Lucky it was only 150-200m of tarmac.

As we set out for today's run a tannoy was letting us know that a little market stall had just set up with pain, fromage etc. When we arrived back through the village I was treated to this view. And left with some pain de la nuil, pain au chocolate, croissant, local miel et six oeufs. Now a cup of Yorkshire tea, legs up and a afternoon of the Hell of the North bicycling
