As we set out for today's run a tannoy was letting us know that a little market stall had just set up with pain, fromage etc. When we arrived back through the village I was treated to this view. And left with some pain de la nuil, pain au chocolate, croissant, local miel et six oeufs. Now a cup of Yorkshire tea, legs up and a afternoon of the Hell of the North bicycling

auhauerha. Gestern Riesenfehler begangen. Der „erfahrene“ Barfuß-Renner hat sich auf 8 km gestreuten Wegen die Fußsohlen malträtiert. Lernkurve: Porphyr-Bruch 3-6 mm ist LEGO-Steineffekt in Potenz. Resultat: je zwei Blutblasen und kleinlaute Reuhe.

Strava, for once you're right, it *is* time for new shoes 😁 Today's #SundayRun pushed me past 3,000km in this pair. I noticed the "sub-optimal" sole a couple of weeks ago, and actually ordered a new pair of #vivobarefoot Geo Racer just the other day.
I run at least 3,000km in a pair of Vivos (I did about 3,150km in my previous pair), and then I continue wearing them casually until they fall apart completely. So even though they're not that cheap, they're good value. And my feet love them (I hate wearing shoes, so these are the next best thing).
