Last week I went to my local LUG because they had Bruce Dubbs in town of Linux From Scratch.
The experience was a delightful blast from the past join a room of 40+ local nerds out to talk nerdy.Plus, I have used LFS a preferred teaching and learning tool for years for getting your hands dirty on the whole stack, and it's relationship across itself.

@devnull yeah, it's messy. And I'm mixed feelings on the whole matter. I don't think the scraping is completely unencumbered, but onX is gross to be asserting such claims on the user contributed content.

Travelled this week to #kubecon with my #x61 (#x62) #thinkpad Frankenstein.
I've done other small trips, but this was a lot more situations.
This is my favorite machine. It is such a comfortable piece of trash. Parts of this machine are 15yrs old, but then cobbled together from various broken machines. Then in the past couple years, I got the drop-in modded board from #lcdfans #51nb out of China. Now a 32Gb with nvme drives, it is a total sleeper. Luckily found a decent battery. avg 7-8hrs.
