  3. Last week I went to my local LUG because they had Bruce Dubbs in town of Linux From Scratch.
    The experience was a delightful blast from the past join a room of 40+ local nerds out to talk nerdy.

    Plus, I have used LFS a preferred teaching and learning tool for years for getting your hands dirty on the whole stack, and it's relationship across itself.

  4. @devnull yeah, it's messy. And I'm mixed feelings on the whole matter. I don't think the scraping is completely unencumbered, but onX is gross to be asserting such claims on the user contributed content.

  5. It seems the issue I'm seeing is when you have the default "emerald" theme on widescreen (or maybe external) display. It shows up correctly on a tiny 4:3 display

  11. Travelled this week to with my () Frankenstein.
    I've done other small trips, but this was a lot more situations.
    This is my favorite machine. It is such a comfortable piece of trash. Parts of this machine are 15yrs old, but then cobbled together from various broken machines. Then in the past couple years, I got the drop-in modded board from out of China. Now a 32Gb with nvme drives, it is a total sleeper. Luckily found a decent battery. avg 7-8hrs.
