Hat noch wer ein Problem mit #Osmand?
Die große #NRW-#Karte ist nicht mehr installierbar, also die Details für alle Regionen in NRW. Ich habe "Regierungsbezirk Arnsberg", was für Teile NRWs Details anzeigt. Manche anderen Regierungsbezirke finde ich aber nicht in der Suche der Kartenverwaltung, und Download wird mir beim Rauszoomen und Tip auf fehlende Region auch nicht angezeigt...

Seit wann sortiert #OsmAnd Ergebnisse nicht mehr nach Entfernung?
Ganz arg fällt mir das bei Kategorien auf. Wenn ich nach Tankstellen suche, dann wird die nächste nicht ganz oben angezeigt. Nach was wird dann sortiert? -
@moskitokoenig @kuketzblog Ist die absolute Eierlegende Wollmilchsau. Habe ich seit Jahren installiert und jedes Update mitgemacht. Nutze ich aber trotzdem selten. Warum? Die Routenberechnung bei Langstrecken ist leider sehr langsam.

Die neue #OsmAnd Version kann u.a. Gebäude in 3D darstellen.
Ist mittlerweile auch bei F-Droid angekommen.

If you are interested in use-case, I’m thinking that e-ink might actually be a great display tech for a sat nav on my motorbike, on the dirt. I use #osmand and can adjust colour of maps to match.
Would be awesome for tulip-style road books. -

@flup Currently @CoMaps (after I stopped using @organicmaps or #MagicEarth ). I realy like #NuNav but it does not appear to be available or usable in the UK at this time. Occasionally I also use #OsmAnd.
What do you like about Goggle Maps so much? Why do you think Apple Maps is so bad?

New version of #OsmAnd (v3.5) released. Lots os new option and features such as better classification of recorded tracks. You can read the improvements on https://osmand.net/blog/osmand-android-5-3-released/
One interesting thing I wanted to highlight is that you can include a minimum cycle path width so that the routing can take it into account if you are using a cargo bike https://osmand.net/blog/osmand-android-5-3-released/#bicycle-width-parameter
I find it interesting and a good reason to add widths to cycle paths in #OpenStreetMap which so far is not that often avail. -
2. On the new phone there's a constant bar at the top of the screen showing an arrow and the kilometers to a seemingly random map marker I have set. It does not matter if I show the markers on the map or not, this top bar is just there all the time.
How can I get rid of it, please?

I need some help with #OsmAnd:
1. On my old phone, when I selected a "from" and "to" and did not press "Start", but just minimized the navigation UI there was two boxes up in the right hand corner, one saying how long the route is in kilometers, the other estimating how long it will take to travel.
This does not happen on my new phone, even though I have imported all settings from the old. How can I turn this on, please?

@nicolasvivant @sebsauvage @vdaron @deuxfleurs idem, j'utilise exclusivement #OSMAnd depuis pas mal d'années, appli pas exempte de défaut mais a l'avantage d'être très riche en fonctionnalités et paramétrage.

@meldrian #OrganicMaps macht ca. ein Update pro Monat, das ist also normal; #OSMand kann eigentlich fast Echtzeit-Updates, aber das funktioniert meiner Erfahrung nach die letzten Monate auch eher schlecht. War mir noch nicht wichtig genug zum nachbohren, aber irgendwas hängt da.
