I recently heard about the coming changes to River 0.4.0 and decided to start writing my own window manager for it. I was very excited to get to the stage of seeing a window appear for the first time this morning, and then it turns out 0.4.0 came out today!

At Union Station in #Chicago waiting to board the #EmpireBuilder for a few days in #NorthDakota, which will make me the newest member of the 50 State Club!

Also, I suppose this is a good time to announce that I was the Acting Director of Music at Fourth from mid-June until last week, and am now the Associate Organist with none other than Doug Cleveland coming in as Interim Organist & Director of Music!

I'm really surprised at how much trouble I've had finding a simple tool to display iCal files in a directory on my machine with a simple read-only calendar web viewer. I've looked at several possibilities and haven't found anything. OpenWebCalendar gets the closest, and I was able to modify its source so that it does what I want, but it's very odd to me that this doesn't exist already. Am I missing some commonly used solution?

Had a meeting today to teach a budding engraver the basics of #Lilypond...we're taking over #MusicEngraving one convert at a time!

I'm deep in prep for my AAGO exam in just over two weeks, but I'm taking a rare break from studying to start a Quell clone in #Bevy. This is the furthest I've gotten into a Bevy project and I'm really enjoying it this time around!

I'm having the odd experience of finally seeing the manuscript of a piece I engraved in #lilypond two years ago, but at that time I only had access to a Finale-ified score. It's remarkable (a) how beautiful the manuscript is (much more so than the original engraving!), and (b) how closely the handwritten one and the Lilypond one match. Each line/page break is identical through 7 of 8 pages, when they finally diverge by one (!) measure.

Excited to accompany the #FrancisPoulenc Stabat Mater at Fourth tonight! There are very, very few 25 voice church choirs that could pull a piece this demanding off.

Some fun #churchmusic on the docket for Fourth today: the first movement from the #FlorencePrice Organ Sonata (I've learned all three movements in ~10 practice sessions #humblebrag) and then BWV 686 (for when five voices in your fugue just aren't enough!).

Living the true English cathedral life today by sight reading my way through (my first!) Evensong, as I got called in as an emergency sub. This will be my first time playing the #Howells Coll Reg!

Is there any way to use #mbsync with the Cyrus SASL plugin, but restrict that plugin to only one mail account? Installing that plugin prevents 3 of my 4 email accounts from syncing, but the fourth requires OAUTH2 to be able to connect.

Can anyone recommend some projects that actually use #PropertyBasedTesting in the wild (specifically, I'm looking for more realistic usage than the countless tutorials that go as far as "here are some properties that test if a list is sorted")?
I'm familiar with Scott Wlaschin's series, which is great, but I'd really like to see some production examples.
