  17. There used to be these half-height 5.25 inch optical disk drives, common in laptops, so I had this random thought - did they ever made half-height 3.5" FDDs too? I've never seen any.

    And yes! It's a thing! If anyone is in possesion of such FDD please contact me so I can make FDD mod lol.

    I've wanted to play with floppies for some time now and this idea seems cool enough.

  18. J'ai redressé la roue de mon avec cet outil.
    Les deux tasseaux sont accrochés sur une poutre du garage. Ils sont fixes avec une simple vis chacun, comme ça je peux replier facilement le tout.
    Deux grosses équerres permettent de garder l'ensemble à angle droit.
    Pour l'outil de mesure, une petite équerre de meuble, un morceau de tige filetée, une sorte de patte qui devait venir d'un appareil informatique et... une pointe de fléchette en plastique !
    Résultat satisfaisant.

    Je découvre en ce moment les cluster de bdd
    #mariadb

    J'ai mis en place un keepalived entre les 3 serveurs. J'essaie de comprendre comment le cluster se met en défaut en cas de split-brain mais je n'y arrive pas.
    Est-ce que le fait d'attaquer le cluster par la VIP Keepalived fait que je suis toujours sur un serveur en état de fonctionnement, et que la synchro se refait une fois les autres membres up ? (empêchant donc un split brain)

    Ce cas se rencontrerait plutôt dans le cas d'un load balancing (dns ou via un outil type ha proxy) ? Ou alors j'ai rien capté ?
