I did a little browsing, and I found out that #jotd666 (the person making all those accurate #Amiga ports of popular arcade games) made a compilation called "#CD32 Arcade Classics," which packs all the ports he made into one single disc.
Most of them are playable, and you can pick the game you want with CD32Load (in essence, WHDLoad for the CD32) built-in.
It's worth checking out for the Amiga CD32 (yes, it really can run on a CD32) or, if you're like me, for WinUAE.

And I realized #Grafx2 does have a color cycling feature just like in #DeluxePaint, but Grafx2 does not support separate color cycling ranges.
In fact, it only has one color cycling range compared to, say, DPaint III's six separate ranges.
(Deluxe Paint IV has an impressive *eight* individual color cycling ranges!)

And I've just been informed of more proof that the #DMCA notices are not legit...
Earlier, I've learned that they are the product of a troll who has done this for 10 years, and yet, still can't do it right (he used the wrong Nintendo domain).
Now? I've learned that these claims have zero evidence to back them up.
At least when the real Nintendo files these notices, they actually provide concrete evidence to prove the offenses committed, as the Yuzu case shows.
-
UPDATE: Turns out it's exactly as I thought it was the first time around... it really was a troll, and not Nintendo.
Not only that, but a troll... with a history of abusing the system with those sham DMCA notices. A 10-year history, that is.
And despite that, he didn't even do it correctly, since he used the wrong Nintendo domain. #DMCAabuse #SteamWorkshop #gaming
-
So, I read that Garry's Mod on #SteamWorkshop has been the target of several DMCA takedown notices by #Nintendo... and sadly, these may be real after all.
I truly thought that this was really the work of trolls because of how often they've been coming, but the operator of #GarrysMod said "the takedowns have been verified by Nintendo as legit." So, this actually is Nintendo's doing.
Even by their own standards, this is way too far.

CW: Sensitive content
@gratefuldread So by passing that bill, they're essentially saying "mass shootings are no big deal."
Awesome. And we experienced just how big of a deal they truly are *last year.*
What on Earth have these poor souls done to deserve being double-crossed like that?

After tons of trial and error, I finally got the 86Box VM configuration based on the #Compaq #DeskPro 386/20e up and running (the actual computer is based on the May 1988 model, but the settings are what a 386/20e would've had back then), complete with the Compaq OEM version of MS-DOS 3.31.
I might as well share the magazine advertisement for the DeskPro 386/20e, which boasted quite a lot; high performance, expandable memory, and VGA graphics, just to name a few.
-
I'm used to DOSBox-X (since it does high-level emulation of DOS and gets to the programs and games right away), but I think what's nice about #86Box is that it's capable of emulating several PC makes and models accurately, right down to the clock speed.
It can be a bit overwhelming for first-time users (as it was for me), so "The Starter's Guide to #PCem and 86Box" in the BetaArchive Forum is worth a look. https://www.betaarchive.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=40232
For the latter, you may also want 86BoxManager for your configs.

@madelena The thing is, loose #moderation (which #Airchat boasts) is supposed to be a boon for people wanting to talk about whatever their heart desires...
...but it can also backfire if enough people are willing to take it to its breaking point, whether they realize it or not, just like with Twitter as of now.
That's why moderation on a social network exists: so you don't go too out of bounds at a given point, and to separate right from wrong.
I use that as my reason.
-
@madelena I've learned a lot from fidget spinners in 2018. And yes, I was part of that trend back when it was hot.
It didn't take long for me to realize they were bad news, especially when it comes to the learning environment at schools, despite the finding that they calm the nerves of autistic people like me.
I don't see why #Airchat won't fall into the same traps as Clubhouse and Twitter Spaces. "What could go wrong?" usually means this is destined to be a fad before long.

I normally never #dresstoimpress just to enjoy myself at home...

In 2020, I watched episodes of "Lizzie McGuire" on Disney+.
In #retrospect, I've come to realize "Lizzie McGuire" relates to me in a way because of how *I* was in high school; someone who wanted to fit in and make friends, but at the same time, chart my own path forward and have fun.
Until then, I was *very* introverted and never outgoing. That's changed since attending my first school dance in October 2018.
In only so many words, that's most of my life as a #teenager.
-
@jlgrantham Cue yet another of this overused song-and-dance number that we've done SO MANY TIMES in relation to Musk (And it's STILL not even a full year since he purchased Twitter?!)...
...and the next wave (of which there are too many to count) of the Twitter Migration.
Even his own website's fact-checking feature is frustrated with him! #MuskSucks #downthedrain

So, what's new at the birdsite this time?
Let me take a look and see-- oh, wait. I can't do that. #RateLimitExceeded

@kuketzblog Uh-huh...
#YouTube is doing so despite the FBI recommending users to have ad blockers in their browsers.
Good job, new YouTube CEO!
Never mind that not everyone has the time or patience to watch 10(!) unskippable ads before a video, let's discourage people from using ad blockers entirely and ignore the FBI's recommendation!
I'm SURE that will go over well!

@Susan_Larson_TN All I have to say is... pot, kettle, black.
I hope from the bottom of my heart they get arrested for what they're doing to those poor souls. They didn't deserve this. At all.

Just updated #BeebEm, a BBC Micro and Master emulator, to the latest version.
Fun to play BBC Micro games on (most of the games are easy to load since they are disk images, but for tape images, it's a bit more complicated), and also a great way to show running teletext feeds like Teefax, Chunkytext, and Nathan Dane's #Ceefax, based on my experiences with BeebEm.

One thing I've learned from using #grafx2, and it's one I've discovered via a tutorial: Color cycling is possible in this Deluxe Paint and Brilliance-inspired software program.
The way I discovered it: You click on a color, and you hold the mouse down so it extends to all or part of a color palette. Then, go to the gradation menu and turn on "Cycling." You can also adjust the speed to however you please, from speeds as fast as 14ms to as low as 800ms. Then, click "OK," and that's it.
