  1. And I've just been informed of more proof that the notices are not legit...

Earlier, I've learned that they are the product of a troll who has done this for 10 years, and yet, still can't do it right (he used the wrong Nintendo domain).

Now? I've learned that these claims have zero evidence to back them up.

At least when the real Nintendo files these notices, they actually provide concrete evidence to prove the offenses committed, as the Yuzu case shows.

  2. UPDATE: Turns out it's exactly as I thought it was the first time around... it really was a troll, and not Nintendo.

Not only that, but a troll... with a history of abusing the system with those sham DMCA notices. A 10-year history, that is.

And despite that, he didn't even do it correctly, since he used the wrong Nintendo domain.

  3. So, I read that Garry's Mod on has been the target of several DMCA takedown notices by ... and sadly, these may be real after all.

I truly thought that this was really the work of trolls because of how often they've been coming, but the operator of said "the takedowns have been verified by Nintendo as legit." So, this actually is Nintendo's doing.

Even by their own standards, this is way too far.

  4. After tons of trial and error, I finally got the 86Box VM configuration based on the 386/20e up and running (the actual computer is based on the May 1988 model, but the settings are what a 386/20e would've had back then), complete with the Compaq OEM version of MS-DOS 3.31.

I might as well share the magazine advertisement for the DeskPro 386/20e, which boasted quite a lot; high performance, expandable memory, and VGA graphics, just to name a few.
