Random conversations
We saw only one person on todays run (the odd passing vehicle doesn’t count). Coming over the brow of a hill, I could smell a familiar pong almost 1k away. I mentioned this as we passed the lad applying creosote and he was happy to leap into a monologue extolling the perfumes and his favourites for changing times of the year.
