Elle représente quoi, ton oeuvre, l'anartiste ?
« C'est un collages d'images et de photos que j'ai prises. Les idées, les valeurs et les symboles de luttes que les gens de Riseup.net portent dans leur coeur. Qu'on soit anarchiste, féministe, autochtone, queer ou geek, on recherche ardemment un moyen de s'émanciper, de se libérer et de se sentir nous-même, ici, là où on vit. Le boltcutter, qui coupe le barbelé, c'est l'action de libération contre les barrières, contre l'emprisonnement, contre les frontières, contre l'exclusion, contre la violence et l'oppression. Le wrench est l'outil de sabotage contre le capitalisme et forme un A cerclé pour action directe, autonomie... L'oiseau, qui est en avant-plan, c'est le Nous, le collectif parce que toutes personnes membres de Riseup sont des "birds". Pis j'ai choisi le Moineau Domestique (Passer Domesticus) parce que c'est une espèce commune à Montréal, et elle reste ici toute l'année, contrairement à d'autres. J'aurais pu mettre un pigeon aussi, ou une corneille, mais je voulais faire une affiche moins grise, moins sombre. »

#workinprogess #art which started from a series of drawings using a nib pen that was really weird, where I scrawled a bunch of stuff that I wasn't sure what the hell to do with, then scanned and started manipulating furiously in several different directions, then layered it on top of itself (along with a few other layers of paint and ink) like a baklava of randomness, and then kept going until I got here which I feel is "getting close"

The orchid pot has survived its first firing, with a bit of underglaze too. I really have to say underglaze on mishima and under sgraffito techniques are really scratching the illustrative itch I've been missing from regular glaze application...
