This was sixteen years in the making. It got worked on, boxed up, moved house three times, shoved aside for other projects and other #quilts, babies and puppies and #knitting, forgotten about and rediscovered. And I finally put it on my bed the day before Xmas Eve ☺️

Just over seven foot square and #quilted with cotton/bamboo batting, it’s delightfully warm. Now I’ve finished though, what do I make next? 😁 #sewing #handmade

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 21 “Yellow to Blue” #quilted vest. I used sample patches painted with the colours mixed for the above artwork for Day 20, to match quilting fabrics. To create the dragonfly, I used a rubber stamp and fabric paint, and glass #beads

Welp… it’s not pretty… but my #Hygge Glow #adventcalendar is officially #quilted 😳
All that remains: cut off excess fabric on all sides then sew on the binding & a dowel sleeve at top & bottom to keep everything straight when it’s hung up! 😅
Wish me luck, not entirely sure if I have enough bias tape to cover my edges 🤪
