A user asked for help at the #Gentoo Booth at the @froscon today. #WPA2 with #Freifunk worked fine, however we could not login to #eduroam and found out that our documentation needs some care. Well, 6 hours of hair tearing later and i have 4 tagged vlans and a host network working. With network isolation and, well, a way too complex network for what I need! But oh so satisfying to finally have it working!!

Мощная и действительно "нано" по размерам – Nano Pi R3S. Это одна из крутых плат, которую можно купить по низкой цене и реализовать на ней много проектов - особенно если на ней стоит Docker! Мне было интересно протестировать как там работает zapret и реализовать мою задумку с двумя сетями. Свободная и без блокировок сеть, которая еще и расширяет зону покрытия основной сети.

- Сучасний Wi-Fi 7: Intel BE200 / MediaTek MT7925Для PCIe / M.2 slot (внутрішня плата): Беріть Intel AX210. Це найменш проблемне рішення за останні роки з ціною близько $20–$30. Якщо потрібен саме Wi-Fi 7 і у вас AMD — беріть MediaTek MT7925; якщо Intel — Intel BE200.

Адаптер Fenvi AX900 (або FU-AX900BT) підключити до Linux можна, але з коробки (Plug-and-Play) він працювати не буде.
Причина полягає в чипсеті: більшість варіацій Fenvi AX900 побудовані на чипі AicSemi AIC8800 (рідше — Realtek RTL8851BU). Драйвери для цього чипсета наразі відсутні в офіційному ядрі Linux (in-tree kernel), тому вам доведеться встановити модуль ядра вручну через DKMS з репозиторію спільноти.
Я би таке собі не брав би.
