104 year old Eddy Goldfarb has invented over 800 iconic toys- some of my favorites, too. He made Stompers, which were HUGE for me as a kid (I still have several). He also made talking teeth, Kerplunk, just TONS of stuff.

The next time you switch on a light in your home, thank a Canadian for the light. On July 24, 1874, Henry Woodward and Mathew Evans filed a Canadian patent application on an electric light bulb. It was granted on August 3, 1874, as Canadian patent number 3,738. Their light bulb comprised a glass tube with a large piece of carbon connected to two wires. Thomas Edison later bought their U.S. patent.
