So I did. It was as harmless as water; no white marks.
So the vendor sold me expired product.
We have not heard back from them. So now I have to contact them to get it resolved. Get my money back? See if they can ship me fresh, non-expired product?

Am I...being punked? These wood samples are now DARKER than they were before I put the 2-part bleach on!
I double-checked that I followed the instructions EXACTLY. The only thing that might not be right is that the solution didn't have tiny bubbles (that I could see) when I mixed them together, as one YouTube tutorial showed.I have applied it again, per the instructions, which say to do it again if you're not happy with the amount of lightening the 1st time.

A special tree this #ThickTrunkTuesday. This recumbent giant is a very old Valley #WhiteOak, #QuercusLobata, on a hillside in Northern Marin County, CA. One of its major limbs is lying on the ground, but surviving just fine.

The Burr White Oak is still looking very similar to the Chestnut at this early phase of growth. You can see the Red Oak has red in its leaves which distinguishes it.
The Hazelnuts are really taking off. On Monday it will be time to fertilize the hazelnuts and the Burr Oak tray as they are getting mature enough. I'll be posting about what and how much when I do.
