After some fucking around, I've now found out that the original #Blum #AventosHK lift systems were either "for Tip-On", meaning no soft-close and really easy to open, or "standard/Servo-Drive" (?), which means they soft-close, but are also goddamn hard to begin opening (meaning that at least my push-to-open thingy fails to eject the door when pushed). I guess it kind of makes sense, but is also an inconvenience, having bought a bunch of second-hand Aventos HK lifters, all in a latter modification.
I wonder if it's possible to convert this modification into a regular one. Has anyone on the Fediverse perhaps tried that?
