Goggle's "Web Integrity" project has been widely condemned as a trojan horse for bringing DRM crippleware to the web. The battle against it has been won. But the war against Goggle's attempt to iThing-ize Android continues;

Hopefully the EU Digital Markets Act is about to do exactly the opposite to iThings. Forcing Goggle to get with the times.

Wondering if this is something that @fsf or @eff might be interested in?
This page is good but the url is too long to put on a Letter to the Editor, we think it needs to list more ethical browsers too:

defectivebydesign.org/chromeA complete #explainer is important to get the message across. Even for technical people.

What is a good site, with a short URL where a layperson can go from no understanding of #Google's nasty #WebIntegrity proposal to full or functional understanding of how it threatens the #openWeb and which suggests Firefox-based browsers but **not** Firefox, eg. #Librewolf, IceCat, #TorBrowser, Pale Moon etc?
We will boost good responses, but not CloudFlare, Amazon or other #CAGEMAFIA websites.
This is a legit challenge.

At least part of the reaction to #Google #WebIntegrity is that it disregards the polite fiction of #UserAgents completely. #Firefox #Brave and #Safari are being told point-blank to serve the interests of #advertisers or be kicked off Google services.
As others have pointed out #Apple has already quietly implemented similar behavior, but because it was advertised as a way to make #CAPTCHAs less annoying, nobody cared.
