Cleaning up an old TeleVideo terminal. Overall works well! I cleaned it up shortly after this pic and came out really nicely.
Tested of course with an @rc2014 board and a PS/2 keyboard 🙂
Picking up an IBM 3151 in a week or so that I ordered as well...

😀⌨️ We're thrilled whenever we receive a piece of Slovenian computer heritage that we don't yet have! This is the keyboard for the Iskra Delta PAKA 5000 terminal. Designed in the industrial style of the Triglav computer by Vid Brataševec, it is functionally a copy of the LK201 keyboard for the DEC VT220 terminal.

I can't find an emulator that supports VT220-style sixels, and I'd love to be able hack on programs targeting the VT220 when I'm away from my desk.

My favorite #vt220 like device for hacking and #retrocomputing is the Random Corporation's Colleague. The (heh) Random Colleague was built when people had the need for mobile access to computing but you were really just dialing into a more powerful computer. It has a word processor that saves to volatile memory because you're just going to transfer it to the real computer later. It has a built in modem that'll do up to 1200 baud (bell212a) and supports serial up to 19.2k. Battery is leadacid.

Happy day! I've found and scored an old #VT220 (compatible) serial terminal for my #SVR4 #retrocomputing project.
We're about to move offices and a bunch of cool stuff just appeared in a "dispose of this" pile. There's an old Sun machine in there too that I might have to save from the crusher. :awesome:
