Repaired this iMac from 2000! Had to take the speakers apart and replace the chemically degrading foam. Left speaker works great, right speaker still a bit of buzz sometimes. CD-ROM had to be disassembled, cleaned and repaired as well. Got it 100% working now! Diablo II is still fun!
Additionally I also have a cheapo SSD inside via a IDE to SATA adapter. It does make it blink question mark mac for about 10 seconds before it finds and boots but other than CD-ROM and CRT whine its a totally silent iMac.

Restoring an extra Amiga 2000. This one was missing a floppy drive faceplate. Modified someone else’s a500 one so it worked here. Not to bad. Sadly the Jessie color does not match but it will work. #amiga #commodore #3dprint #vintagecomputing #vintagecomputer
