I have been researching some non-french varieties #wine from the new world and they're extremely hard to find! I've seen #Australianwine has been doing some experimenting, none have become major varieties yet over there. @Hope It depends on what is available where you are. If it is #newzealand #sauvignonblanc you like, then depending on availability you can try #GrunerVeltiner from #Austria. Loimer is a good producer. I am a fan of #vermentino from #sardinia too. Try Argiolas as a producer. Really try any unoaked, cool climate white. Don’t be afraid to explore a bit!

@lexvinum Well, being Italian I have had more exposure to #italianwine and I love it. Well, most of it. So I tend to post about it. But I live in Britain and we get wines from all over the world! I try not to be biased although #vermentino has a special place in my heart.

I have been saving this bottle of #wine for a while since I decided I wanted to make a special meal for my bf. #LigurianWine calls for a Ligurian meal. More on that in next post. The wine was spectacular. I find it complex, bold and interesting. Starts with a refreshing acidity, followed by lush grapefruit and a nice minerality finish. It won three glasses (max score) on the 2023 #GamberoRosso guide and I see why! #Vermentino #ColliDiLuni DOC #ItalianWine #winetasting #winelover

#wine anyone have any recommendations for good #Chardonnay? I've tried a few, so far I liked Mâconnais. Overall I find this to be quite uninteresting. I still can't understand what
people in the industry see in it when to me there are other #whitewine that I feel are superior and give me a better experience like #SauvignonBlanc #Vermentino #Gewürztraminer. But I've learnt so far that there's always a style of each grape you'll enjoy if you search for it. 😃 #winelover #winetasting

I have been saving a 2021 Black label #Vermentino #wine from #CantineLunae for our first dinner with my boyfriend and my friends all together and I'm glad it got awarded Three Glasses by #GamberoRosso. Can't wait to open it. #italianwine #ligurianwine

@zpneal @jennawneal Liguria overall is a big producer of white #wine. Defo recommended is #Vermentino, #Bianchetta or #Albarola (changes name according to area of production). For the reds #VermentinoNero and #Ciliegiolo. My favourite producer is #CantineLunae but I have heard good things of #CantineFederici. /2

From west coast there's also #Pigato (w) and #Rossese (r). I particularly liked #CantineLunae from #Luni, their Vermentino w and r are fenomenal #wine #winelover #winegeek #winetasting #italianwine
