Soave Superiore Roccolo del Durlo 2019 – Le Battistelle (Magnum). Vigne ripide su suoli vulcanici; solo acciaio e 8 mesi sulle fecce fini con bâtonnage. Oro lucente, profumi nitidi di pesca bianca e scorza di cedro, poi zenzero lieve, fiore giallo, cera d’api. Scaldandosi nel calice si distende e mostra struttura e profondità.

Another day, another portfolio tasting! Massanois is fairly new to #Virginia and so many of these wines are brand new to the market for us ... but many of these #wines are also well-known and well-respected producers. So, it was a great day of tasting wines and figuring out what to ask my rep to try to get approved thru the state, what's approved, and what's worth it ... the photo is just a few highlights!

We've tried today this #whitewine #Passimento #Garganega wine, it was very interesting, complex, floral, acidity well balanced. Really liked it, totally recommend this. Would have thought that an #appassimento wine would have more body, reminded me a lot the #Cortese #Gavi wine to be honest. #wine #winelover #winetasting #winegeek.
