So, the #thursdaynightmassacre seems like yet another bad decision that Elon has made with his new bird site. Seriously, a chunk of those people were content creators that were keeping people on the site, where he's trying to make money off of ads. Seriously, who's going to advertise there if he keeps driving people off the site? The my pillow guy?
Conversely, why are all these people staying to complain about him? All of this is trending on Twitter, and still, they haven't left.

Went off on a big ass diatribe on Twitter after learning what happened during the massacre of accounts getting banned. The official Mastodon account included which is pretty audacious.
Like I said over there, I'm not necessarily surprised at what's happening given the new management, but I'm realizing that the purge has officially started.
At least I tried to simplify Mastodon the best I could for folks.

I get the feeling Elmo didn't realise people could abandon the bird so easily.
